Helping Children through Eating and Body Confidence Issues
Find out how to respond to comments on body dissatisfaction or healthy eating in ways that support young people to feel at ease around food and at home in their bodies.

This workshop is for parents whose children are struggling with eating and body confidence issues. We will explore core beliefs that impact young people’s resilience and shape their ideas about health and body acceptance. You’ll learn how to shift the focus to open up conversations that address relevant non-food issues such as the drive for perfectionism and the strong need for control and certainty.

Teaching is participatory with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

There are 4 sessions of 2 hours each.
Group size is 3-6. The cost is £160 per person for the 4 sessions.
The group requires a minimum of 3 people as the learning style is interactive. You will be informed as soon as this number is confirmed. If the number is not reached 10 days before the course it will be cancelled.

Dates: April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th – 9.30am-11.30am
