In Person and On-line Workshops
Well Now is for anyone with a personal andor professional interest in understanding the links between food, self-care, body respect and the common good.
I offer retreats and in person training for people providing services as nutrition, counselling and social care professionals, somatic practitioners, educators and activists. I’ll be adding on-line training.
Participatory workshops for practitioners are designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need put learning into practice straight away, and enable you to carry on deepening your understanding of the topic once you leave.
I offer retreats for people whose interest in Well Now is mainly personal, and will be adding on-line courses.
Kindful Eating: making peace with food and our bodies, Woodbrooke, Birmingham, March 20-22, 2020
This training is for anyone who feels there could be a different way of going about food and eating, including health providers.
It’s for you if you want to explore a way to nourish and care for yourself that makes sense to you all of the time, a way that helps you feel at peace with your body and at ease at meal times. If you’re a health provider, educator or wellbeing promoter, you can then bring what you’ve learned to the work you do.
About the venue: The last time I was at Woodbrooke I saw an array of amazing projects: hand-bells to resonate with, a series of incredibly detailed themed mandalas, and a photo journal that was simply brilliant. I’m not promising a repeat of this, but the other more routine memorable thing is the meals and they will be on offer. Also, the gardens.
